Why PythWheel exists

A fair, open way to reward the people who make the Pyth community — and why it runs on-chain.

PythWheel is the prize wheel of the Pyth community. It turns taking part in the Pyth Discord into a chance to win crypto, NFTs and merch — and it does it in the open, on-chain, where anyone can check the result.

The problem it solves

Handing out community rewards fairly is hard. Picking winners by hand is slow and invites doubt, and most raffles ask you to trust whoever runs them. PythWheel replaces that with a process every member can see and check for themselves.

How it works

  1. Take part in the Pyth Discord. Your roles decide how many spins you get each week.
  2. Connect your wallet on PythWheel and press SPIN. Each spin is a small on-chain transaction.
  3. Pyth Entropy delivers a random number for your spin on-chain. Nobody can predict or change it — not you, and not the team.
  4. That number picks your prize using the published drop rates, and the win is recorded against your wallet.
  5. The Community Council distributes the prizes.

Why on-chain?

Because fairness shouldn't depend on taking anyone's word for it. Every spin is a transaction you can look up on a block explorer, and every random number comes from Pyth Entropy, which anyone can verify.

What you can win

Every prize has a rarity tier: F Common, E Uncommon, B Rare, A Epic and S Legendary. Rarer tiers mean bigger rewards and lower chances. The Loot Table on the wheel lists every prize, its chance and how many are left this month; a greyed-out segment is fully claimed.
