Questions & answers

Quick answers to what players ask most. Every answer has its own link you can share.

Spinning

Members of the Pyth Discord who are on this month's PythWheel whitelist. The whitelist is rebuilt every month from Discord registrations, and your roles decide how many spins you get.

Chirons can also grant bonus spins — see “What are bonus spins?” below.

It depends on your Discord roles: higher roles get more spins each week. The wheel always shows how many you have left.

Spins reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Unused spins don't carry over to the next week.

The cooldown paces the wheel. After a spin, the SPIN button counts down; you can spin again when it reaches zero. A spin you've already paid for is never lost to the cooldown.

No. Your spin is saved the moment you pay for it. Open PythWheel again in the same browser and it's finished automatically — you'll see a message telling you what you won.

Chirons are trusted community members who can reward others with bonus spins. A bonus spin is used once your weekly spins run out, and it's played on the bonus wheel.

Prizes

Every prize has a rarity tier, from most to least common: F Common, E Uncommon, B Rare, A Epic and S Legendary. Rarer tiers mean bigger rewards and lower chances.

The Loot Table on the wheel lists every prize, its chance and how many are left this month.

You get a free respin at no extra cost — up to 3 for each paid spin.

Prizes are distributed by the Community Council rather than instantly. Until then, your win shows as Pending in your Treasury on the wheel page.

Keep the wallet addresses in your Discord registration up to date so your prizes reach you.

Gas & fees

Each spin is an on-chain transaction that asks Pyth Entropy for a verifiable random number. You pay the Entropy fee plus gas, both in HYPE, and your wallet shows the total before you confirm.

More detail: Gas fees on EVM chains, explained.

HyperEVM, Hyperliquid's EVM network (chain ID 999). Gas is paid in HYPE. When you connect, PythWheel asks your wallet to switch to HyperEVM.

Once a transaction is included in a block, its gas is spent even if it fails. Cancelling in your wallet sends a new transaction that pays gas too. A transaction you reject before sending costs nothing.

Fairness

Every spin's number comes from Pyth Entropy on-chain, and nobody — including the team — can predict or change it. Find your spin on a block explorer, then check its random number in the Pyth Entropy Explorer.
